Amherst Open Air Market is Open on Sundays

AMHERST – A year-round farmers market is open at the Amherst  Garden Center every Sunday and features fresh, local offerings including produce, meats, eggs, breads and baked goods, jams and  condiments, honey, maple syrup, tea, wine, chocolate, jewelry, cosmetics and art.  The winter market is held in the heated greenhouse adjacent to the Amherst Garden Center Farmstand.

In addition to the above goods, the market will feature a monthly DIY series in which  participants will learn to create a specified craft/home decor item that can be taken home as well as a monthly Kids Corner event where children can  create a craft or hear a story while parents browse the market’s vendors. Also  featured will be weekly live music and a free Market Meal of the Week Recipe Card using ingredients available at the market that day.

If you are interested in supporting local business by feeding your family healthy,  sustainably raised foods and beverages, we would love to meet you!
